RAPID CITY, SD– Rapid City’s annual one stop shop for everything home improvement is now open for the weekend. The 47th annual Black Hills Home Builders Association Home Show opened Friday morning at The Monument.
For anyone looking at home repairs, upgrades or leisure items, this is the place. 400 vendors ranging from roofers, plumbers, siding specialists, spas and more are on hand throughout The Monument an in the Summit Arena.
And if talking gutters and shingles isn’t your significant other’s thing, 80 small business vendors are set up in the pop-up market place in the Barnett Field House.

The Home Builders Association holds this event every spring, when thoughts of sprucing up the home are blooming.
Black Hills Home Builders Executive Vice President Rachelle White says, “Getting into the warm season, I think people are going to start thinking about what to do with their backyard or, you know, maybe getting some new siding on their house. We literally have everything here that you can talk to the professionals about your ideas.”
The home show continues Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm, and Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm Admission is $10, but kids 12 and under are free.
